Clearing Your Auto-Complete

Once you have filled out a form on the Internet, each time you
do so afterwards, you will see multiple choices show up from the
auto-complete drop box. Sometimes there will be only one, but
most of the time you will see several. Most of the time, it turns out
the one you want is at the bottom of the list! Often, the one's that
come before are something you rarely or never will use again.
You can shed the excess from each list that shows up, or you can
completely delete all the auto-complete information you have stored.

If you just want a word or two gone, next time you see that word or
two in the auto-complete drop box, arrow down to it so you have it
highlighted, and press your delete key. It is gone!

If you wish to clear the whole thing out, you can do that too. Open
Internet Explorer, hit the Tools menu then Internet Options. Now,
click on the "content tab", then the "AutoComplete" button you
should see displayed. Another screen will come up. Find the "Clear
Forms" button and click on it. If you wish, you can also clear
password information. Take note there is also a "Clear Passwords"
button.

That should do it! You have wiped the slate clean! I love this litte
tip and don't know how I stood it before I learned of it!
