As sad as it sounds, Planned Parenthood's response to the Terrorist Attack and the massive loss of life was to give women free "reproductive health services." At a time when so many are realizing the value of life and family, Planned Parenthood's response was to provide free
"reproductive health services," a mere euphemism for abortion. I'm sure you agree with me -- this is outrageous.
PLANNED PARENTHOOD'S PUBLIC POSITION
You can see from their press release on their Web Site on September 18th, their response was:
"To provide for the many New York women who have been displaced or may otherwise be in need due to the World Trade Center tragedy, PPNYC will be offering complete reproductive
health care [i.e.: abortion on demand] from September 18th through September 22nd free of cost." According to Planned Parenthood of NYC the demand was great so they extended their free services. As outrageous as this may sound -- it is true.

On July 24, 2001, the House Judiciary Committee forwarded this legislation as part of the Patients Bill of Rights. Why? Because there is no protection for the lives of these innocent babies.
These are live children, delivered - and then left to die by abortion clinic staff!
Horrific testimonies in the support of this "Born-Alive" act liberals condone:
* One nurse recounted how she cradled and rocked a dying 22-week-old Down's Syndrome baby in a hospital's Soiled Utility Room where he had been LEFT TO DIE. For 45 minutes, she listened as he struggled to breathe ... and when he died, she wrapped him ceremoniously in a shroud and took him to the hospital's morgue, where other dead patients were taken.
* The nurse also told about another baby, wrapped in a disposable towel, who was also put into the Soiled Utility Room to die. When the child was accidentally THROWN AWAY, the staff had to search through the trashcan to find the baby - and in the process, dropped the tiny body on the floor.
I know this is upsetting. To think that a doctor, trained to save lives, would knowingly refuse to care for a human being is absolutely gruesome!
But this is exactly what is happening in our country - and this is why you and I must act today!
Senators must be held accountable and motivated to pass this law. These children must be a top priority!
THIS IS PERHAPS ONE OF THE MOST IMPORTANT ISSUES OF OUR LIFETIME.

In Stenbert v. Nebraska, the Supreme Court took the position that states cannot ban partial-birth abortion - a procedure better characterized as infanticide. Justice Clarence Thomas did read a stinging dissent to the ruling and repeatedly equated this abominable procedure to infanticide. That is why the ACLJ refers to this case as THE INFANTICIDE DECISION. Next, pro-abortion leaders took action in other states that have enacted law similar to Nebraska in banning partial birth abortion. The ACLJ is fighting to uphold pro-life laws in every state and every court, if necessary. They will not back down.

Nicosia, Italy -- Scientists could create the first cloned human before
the end of the year, a doctor working on the controversial project said on
Friday. Dr. Panayiotis Zavos, who along with his Italian colleague Severino
Antinori has triggered worldwide alarm with plans to create tailor-made
offspring, said research was going faster than initially expected. The
team has been banned from carrying out research in most European Union
countries, but Zavos said that was not hindering progress. Countries like France and Germany have appealed to the United Nations to
get human cloning banned in an international treaty. Religious groups are
also enraged at the doctors' attempts to play God. Though regarded something of a maverick in the medical world, Zavos'
medical accomplishments are a source of pride for many Cypriots. He
emigrated to the United States more than 30 years ago but retains close
family ties with the island. Zavos said countries which took a stand against cloning embryos could
possibly end up at a disadvantage because the technology would inevitably catch up.
``This is not an issue of morality, this is not an issue of being ethical
or unethical, but rather assisting people to have children and that is the business we are in.''
In Hill v. Colorado, the First Amendment rights of pro-life protesters was silenced. The Supreme Court choose to relegate First Amendment speech to the same category as pornography. Pro-life citizens must now squarely face a shocking reality: the current United States Supreme Court is a pro-abortion institution that can be counted upon the actively promote abortion. Not only has the court upheld infanticide, it continues to silence those who wish to speak out against it!

Washington - In a victory for family planning advocates, House leaders killed legislation that would have blocked school-based health clinics from giving "morning after" contraceptoin pills to adolescent girls. Rep. Melissa A. Hart, (R-Pa.), an ardent abortion foe, was making headway in attaching the ban to a crucial appropriation bill moving through Congress. GOP House leaders yanked it off the agenda, fearing it would ignite partisan tensions and throw the House in gridlock when Congress is trying to figure out how to respond to terrorist attacks. Hart said she plans to introduce the measure again.
